FCC Reveals Sony Ericsson R306a with AM/FM Tuner

The FCC has revealed the Sony Ericsson r306a clamshell. The phone marks the spiritual return to the Ericsson naming convention and is one of the first to feature an internal AM/FM radio tuner with dedicated controls on the front flip.


If released, this would be the first US phone from Sony Ericsson to feature an AM tuner and dedicated controls, which are popular features found on Japanese market handsets. Neither Sony Ericsson nor any US carrier has announced the phone at this time.
